No-churn ice cream is a method of making ice cream that does not require an ice cream maker. Traditional ice cream requires churning to incorporate air and prevent ice crystals. In contrast, no-churn ice cream uses whipped cream for aeration and sweetened condensed milk for smoothness, making it a breeze to prepare at home.

Creating homemade no-churn strawberry ice cream is fun and a fantastic way to enjoy a cooling treat during the warmer months. With the ease and flexibility of this recipe, you’ll find yourself making it again and again, experimenting with new flavours and mix-ins every time. Enjoy!

Tips & Suggestions

Use ripe and fresh strawberries for the best flavour. If strawberries are out of season, consider using high-quality frozen strawberries.

For added texture, fold in some chopped strawberries or strawberry chunks just before freezing.

Experiment with different flavours by adding strawberry jam, chocolate chips or a swirl of peanut butter to the ice cream base.

The longer you freeze, it may take around 5-10 minutes for the ice cream to reach scoopable consistency. But don’t worry. The ice cream won’t melt during this waiting period.
