Tips & Suggestions

Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavour. If fresh strawberries are not available, frozen strawberries work as well.

Use plain yogurt. Both low-fat and full-fat varieties work well, but full-fat yogurt will give a richer, creamy taste.

Adjust the amount of sugar based on the sweetness of your strawberries. You can also experiment with other sweeteners like maple syrup, honey or agave syrup.

While cardamom powder is optional, it adds a nice flavour to the lassi. Additionally, rose water can be added too.

Serve the creamy strawberry yogurt drink in a glass with a strawberry piece kept on the glass for decor.

Serving Suggestions

  • Breakfast: Pair the strawberry lassi drink with a bowl of granola, pancakes or oatmeal for a nutritious breakfast.
  • Snack: Enjoy it as a mid-day snack to keep your energy levels up.
  • Dessert: Serve it as a light dessert after a meal. You might also like my Strawberry Puff Pastry, Strawberry Muffins, to be served as a dessert.
  • Party Drink: Make a large batch and serve it at summer parties or gatherings.
