Rose Lassi is a refreshing and pretty-looking drink that is perfect for the summer heat. The addition of rose flavour, a bit of cardamom and milk to tangy yogurt, makes it delectable. This cooling beverage is so easy to make with just a few ingredients.
Serve this Rose Lassi for breakfast, or as a welcome drink in your parties. I also like to wind up my day with a glass of cold lassi on a hot, summer night. Today, I made this Rose Lassi along with my elaborate Indian Thali for lunch. The drink kept me hydrated from the burning Sun!
About the recipe
Lassi is a yogurt based drink that is popular throughout India. It is made using yogurt, water, salt, spices. Later, the addition of fruits and other flavours to the plain lassi started becoming popular. Mango Lassi is the most popular one of the lot. If you live outside India, you can see every other Indian restaurant serving mango lassi!
I am a big fan of the good old Plain Lassi with just salt and chaat masala. Makes me feel so light and makes my stomach happy as well. But I can’t complain about the addition of flavours to lassi. More variety, the merrier isn’t it?
Summer is at its peak and there can’t be a better time to have this refreshing drink. Rose Lassi is flavourful and fragrant with the addition of cardamom powder and rose petals. The beautiful pink colour is so inviting that everyone from kids to adults will want another glass of this drink.

If you don’t have rose syrup, just use rose essence and sugar.
