Mango season is coming to an end this year. How can I miss making these creamy, delicious Mango Popsicles? These luscious, beautiful, flavorful Creamy Mango Popsicles scream all things, Summer. Do try this much-needed seasonal treat!

Creamy Mango Popsicles with just 5 ingredients

As a family, we are obsessed with mangoes. Every year, we eagerly look forward to those boxes of Alphonso Mangoes in the Indian stores. Though we love eating them as it is, I am always eager to add these ripe and juicy mangoes to my recipes. This year, I have been pretty successful in making quite a few recipes with Alphonso Mangoes. though I haven’t added all of them to the blog, this Mango Popsicle deserves a special place here.

Mangoes and desserts make a great combination! I am a bit more partial when it comes to frozen desserts. Especially when it is homemade, you can always ensure that the ingredients used are fresh. These frozen desserts are perfect for kids to indulge in with no preservatives.

When I decided to make these creamy mango popsicles, I wanted to bring the taste and texture similar to our Indian Mango Kulfi. At the same time, I wanted to keep the method simple and straightforward. So, I decided to use similar ingredients that are used in kulfi and just put them together. This no-cook version is a super hit in my house.

Frozen dessert with ripe and sweet mangoes.

I love these Creamy Mango Popsicles because,

It is Creamy & Rich as the name suggests

So refreshing and loved by everyone from kids to adults

    Super easy to put together.

Irresistible. You just can’t stop with one!

Mango Lover’s dream. Not to worry if you don’t get Indian Mangoes near you. You can make these Popsicles using Canned Mango Pulp too! This means you can make this dessert throughout the year.

    Ingredients needed

Mango: You will need juice, sweet, ripe mango chunks

Milk: Use full fat milk for best results

Fresh Whipping Cream: For adding a bit of creamy texture

Sugar: Though the mangoes are naturally sweetened, a tiny bit of sugar helps in giving that caramelized effect to the popsicles. You can replace sugar with honey or maple syrup.

Cardamom Powder: Adds a nice flavour to the popsicles

Nuts: This is optional but gives a nice texture while biting onto the creamy mango popsicles.

    How to make Mango Popsicles

To a blender, add sugar, milk and whipping cream.

Blend everything together until well combined. You will have a frothy mixture now.

Peel, cube and keep some mango pieces ready.

Add cardamom powder and the mango pieces along with the milk mixture and blend everything together.

We can make creamy mango popsicles by blending peeled and cubed mango pieces along with milk, whipping cream, sugar , cardamom powder.

Transfer the mango mixture into popsicle moulds. Top it with chopped nuts.

Transfer the mango mixture to popsicle mold and freeze overnight

Freeze overnight and enjoy the creamy mango popsicles.

    Other Variations

You can add coconut milk, coconut cream, and greek yogurt along with the mango puree.

Sugar can be replaced with honey or maple syrup. If you do not want any additional sweetener, you can skip it altogether.

Saffron can be added to make the popsicles richer.

You can leave a few pieces of chunky mangoes in the popsicles if you wish.

Using juicy, fresh mangoes is the best. I have used Alphonso mangoes. Optionally, you can use any mango that you can get or even canned mango puree is fine. Adjust sweetener according to the sweetness of the mangoes.
