If you have noticed, there are a lot of air fryer recipes coming up from my kitchen lately. I am in love with this gadget and have a huge list of recipes to share as well. So keep watching out for more recipes from my end.

I love Sweet Potatoes and use them throughout the year in various recipes. Roasting Sweet Potatoes in the Air Fryer is a game-changer for me. With minimal oil and spices, sweet potatoes get cooked perfectly well and take lesser time than when cooking on the stovetop.

The subtle sweetness of the vegetable is retained along with the taste and flavour of the mild spices that are added. We enjoy having them as a snack cos the air-fried sweet potatoes taste that good!

If you love sweet potatoes as much as me, you will enjoy making these air fryer sweet potato cubes. Just peel the sweet potatoes, cut them into cubes, and season with little oil, salt and spices of your choice. That’s it! Just throw them into your air fryer basket and get perfectly done these sweet potatoes in minutes.

I know many people who love to cook sweet potatoes with their skin on them. I guess it is totally up to your taste and preference. Either way, these sweet potatoes cooked in the air fryer taste amazing with a crunchy texture.

Ingredients

How to make Sweet Potatoes in the Air Fryer?

Peel and dice the sweet potatoes into cubes.

Place the sweet potatoes in a bowl. Season them with oil, salt, garlic powder, pepper powder, and paprika. Stir and ensure the sweet potatoes are coated well.

Preheat the air fryer to 400F. Spray your air fryer basket with oil. Add the sweet potato cubes to the basket. Make sure you place them in a single layer and that the sweet potatoes don’t overlap each other.

Air fry at 400F for 15 minutes and make sure you shake them halfway.

Serve hot and Enjoy!

Variations

Chilli Powder, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder, Cajun Spice, Onion Powder, and Curry Powder are a few of the other alternative options that can be used to season Sweet Potatoes.

Additionally, you can add thyme, dried parsley, red chilli flakes, and Italian seasoning.

If you want to make a sweet version of Air Fryer Sweet Potato Cubes, you can toss them in cinnamon powder along with brown sugar, maple syrup or honey.

Tips & Suggestions

Like I always say, each air fryer is different. Typically, the sweet potatoes are ready when they turn golden brown on the outside. Yours may take a few minutes extra too. So, have a check on the sweet potatoes and cook accordingly.

Make sure the sweet potato cubes are even in shape. This helps in a uniform cooking process.

Adjust seasonings according to your preference.

You can leave the sweet potato skin on or peel it off. If you plan to cook them with the skin on, make sure you wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly.

Make sure you cover the air fryer basket with a single layer of sweet potatoes. If the quantity is more, you can cook in batches.

Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes taste the best when served right after cooking. They may start losing the crispy texture as time goes ones.
