Well seasoned, delicious and perfectly roasted baby carrots in the air fryer. Roasted Baby Carrots make a great side dish or can be had as a snack as well. These are quick, easy to make and a lot of fun too!

Roasted veggies happen to be a favourite snack for my younger daughter. She loves baby carrots and often asks me to pack them in her snack box. That’s how I decided to make these roasted baby carrots in the air fryer for her snack! She thoroughly enjoyed the carrots and from then on, I make this at least twice a week with different seasonings. Definitely a healthy and tempting finger food!

    Why I love this recipe

    • Roasted Carrots are an amazing side dish for any meal. Can be had with Rice, Soup, Garlic Bread, Boiled Potatoes etc.
    • Can also be had as a snack. Kids would love having this in their snack box or as finger food in the evenings.
    • A healthy snack for everyone. The best part about using an air fryer is, that a lot of oil is not needed.
    • Seasoning can be customized to our taste.
    • Air Fryer roasts the carrot perfectly well in significantly less time.

What do you need to make Roasted Baby Carrots?

    Baby Carrots

    Oil of your choice

Seasonings – I have kept it simple and easy with garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, pepper powder and dried parsley.

How to Roast Baby Carrots in The Air Fryer

    • Wash baby carrots, and then pat dry with paper towels.
    • To a mixing bowl, add baby carrots, oil and seasonings. Mix well.
    • Preheat the air fryer to 400F for 5 minutes. Arrange the carrots in a single layer on the air fryer basket.
    • Air fry at 400F for 15 minutes.
    • Take them out once done and serve as a snack or side!

    Tips & Variations

    • Cook in batches if making a large quantity. Do not crowd the air fryer basket.
    • Flip the carrots halfway through the cooking process for even cooking.
    • Adjust cooking time to more or less depending on how tender you want the carrots to be.
    • If you do not have baby carrots, use regular carrots, peel and cut them in quarters.
    • You can also use a variety of other seasonings such as onion powder, cumin powder, paprika, chaat masala, or garam masala.
    • You can make them sweet by cooking the carrots with butter and maple syrup.

What to serve Roasted Carrots with

Baby carrots roasted in the air fryer can be enjoyed on their own or with a dip like Hummus or Mayonnaise. Roasted Baby Carrots can also be served along with rice, boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, any vegetable soup or a sandwich.
