How to make this Easy Corn Cheese Sandwich?

Boil sweet corn kernels until tender. Let them cool. If using frozen corn, add them to a pot of boiling water and cook for 2 minutes. Drain immediately and let it cool down.

To a large bowl, add the boiled corn, mayonnaise, red chilli sauce, Italian seasoning, red chilli flakes, and grated cheese. Mix them well.

Butter two slices of bread. Spread the corn mixture over one slice of bread. Add a spoon of grated cheese on top of the filling.

Cover with the second slice of bread and apply butter on the top portion.

Place this on a sandwich maker and cook until the sliced turn golden brown. If you don’t have a sandwich maker, cook on a tawa by adding a little bit of butter to the tawa. Toast both sides of the sandwich by gently pressing and flipping it. Make sure both sides turn golden brown.

Once done, cut into triangles and serve with tomato ketchup.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices of Bread
  • ½ cup Grated Cheese (Cheddar or Mozzarella work well)
  • ½ cup Corn Kernels (Fresh or Frozen)
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 teaspoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 & ½ teaspoon Red Chilli Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Red Chilli Flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Grated Cheese (To sprinkle on top before toasting)

Notes
