Tips for the best Kaara Pori

To get the best flavour and texture, use fresh puffed rice / pori.

Roasting the spices before adding the Pori can enhance the flavour and aroma. Heat a pan on medium-low heat and roast the spices until fragrant, careful not to burn them.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly to ensure the spices are evenly distributed, ensuring each puffed rice is coated with the spice mixture.

Taste the kara pori and adjust the seasoning as needed. If you prefer a spicier snack, add more chilli powder; if you prefer a milder snack, you can reduce the red chili powder.

Add spice powders like sambar powder or paprika Powder to this easy Indian snack.

Once the kara pori has cooled completely, please store it in an airtight container to maintain its crispiness and flavour.
