If you are looking for a delicious, healthy breakfast option that is easy to prepare, then check this 5 Ingredient Strawberry Chia Pudding. This easy breakfast option is Gluten Free, Dairy Free. I have never been a fan of berries, but this recipe is definitely a game-changer for me.

    5 Ingredient Strawberry Chia Pudding

With just 5 ingredients, you can easily prepare this recipe in less than 10 minutes. Chia pudding is a super healthy, creamy and no-cook breakfast/dessert option. Chia Pudding gets its creamy and thick consistency from the Chia Seeds. When combined with any liquid, chia seeds gel up and turn to a pudding consistency.

This Chia pudding is sweetened by the natural sweet from Strawberries and a little bit of Maple Syrup. It’s a great breakfast option for busy days and can also be had as a snack or dessert. It literally takes just 5 minutes to put together. It just needs to rest for a couple of hours to overnight to form the thick, pudding consistency.

I know a lot of people who struggle to put together a simple, healthy meal. For such people, this 5 ingredient strawberry chia pudding is a wonderful grab & go breakfast option. You can make it ahead, refrigerate it in portions and just pick a jar for a filling and healthy breakfast. I started making this pudding using a variety of fruits and toppings a couple of months ago. Now that my husband is working from home due to the Pandemic situation, he keeps asking for some healthy snacks in the evening. After a lot of brainstorming, I came up with few options and this Chia Pudding is one option that has been quite successful.

    Tips & Suggestions

I made my 5 ingredient strawberry chia pudding in a large bowl and divided it into small containers once set. You can also make these in individual mason jars directly and let them set in the jar.

You can add chia seeds along with berries and milk in the blender. Since we love eating the chia seeds like tapioca, we enjoy this consistency.

If you don’t want to use the blender at all, add finely chopped strawberries along with the other ingredients to a bowl and give a good mix.

You can use any milk of your choice – Few options are Regular whole milk, Oat milk, Soy Milk.

Instead of maple syrup, you can use honey or any other sweetener of your choice. Use until you reach the right amount of sweetness. This also depends on how sweet the berries are.

Give enough time for the pudding to set. If you feel the consistency is too thick, add some more milk and let it sit for few more hours. If the consistency turns out to be thinner than what you like, add some chia seeds and let it sit for a couple of more hours.

    Variations

Chocolate Chia Pudding: Add few teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa powder to the other ingredients to make a chocolate Strawberry Pudding. A perfect treat for chocolate lovers.

More berries : Add in other berries like blueberry, blackberry, raspberry to make a mixed berries pudding.

Toppings : Top the pudding with dessicated coconut, grated dark chocolate, chocolate chips, granola.

Greek Yogurt : Instead of milk, you can add greek yogurt also to this pudding recipe.
