Frequently asked questions

Can I use milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate?

Yes, you can, but the brownies will be sweeter and less intense in flavour.

How long do these brownies stay fresh?

Stored in an airtight container, they’ll stay fresh for up to 5 days at room temperature.

Can I freeze these brownies?

Absolutely! Wrap them well and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.

What if I don’t have fresh oranges for zest?

You can use 1-2 teaspoons of orange extract as a substitute, though fresh zest provides the best flavour.

How to know if my fudgy brownies are cooked well?

Insert a toothpick into the center of the brownies. For fudgy brownies, it should come out with a few moist crumbs clinging to it. If the toothpick comes out with wet better stuck to it, the brownies need to be cooked for more time.
