Main Ingredient: Boiled Peanuts

Fresh Vegetables: Onion, Green Chilli, Tomato, Raw Mango, Cucumber

Spices: Pepper Powder, Cumin Powder, Chaat Masala, Salt

Garnish: Coriander Leaves, Lemon Juice

How to make Boiled Peanut Salad Recipe ?

First, cook the raw peanuts. If cooking in a stovetop pressure cooker, add the raw peanuts to the pressure cooker, add salt and cover with enough water. Cook for 3 to 4 whistles on a medium flame. The peanuts should be well-cooked but not mushy.

How to cook peanuts to make peanut salad recipe

If cooking in the Instant Pot, add the raw peanuts, water to cover, and salt. Close the Instant Pot with the lid and pressure cook for 15 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally.

Combine the boiled peanuts, onion, tomatoes, cucumber, raw mango, green chilli in a large mixing bowl.

How to make boiled peanut salad recipe

Add the black pepper powder, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder(jeera powder), and little salt to the bowl.

Add finely chopped coriander leaves and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the mixture according to your taste preference.

Toss all the ingredients together until well combined.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Raw peanuts / Groundnuts
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 1 small Tomato finely chopped
  • 1 small Cucumber finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Raw Mango finely chopped, optional
  • 1 small Green Chilli finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Coriander Leaves / Cilantro finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • Lemon Juice from ½ Lemon

Instructions
 

Cook the raw peanuts
