Ingredients to make Marble Loaf Cake

How to make Marble Loaf Cake

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour your loaf pan. Line it with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix together, flour, salt, baking powder & baking soda. Keep it aside.

Melt the chocolate in a small bowl. Set aside.

Add eggs and sugar to another bowl. Combine using a whisk. Add oil, vanilla extract. Beat again.

Add the dry ingredients and milk alternatively, little by little and mix well using a spatula. Once the vanilla batter is ready, transfer half the batter to the bowl of melted chocolate.

Now it’s time to add the batter to the prepared loaf pan. First, add the vanilla batter and add the chocolate batter on top of it.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until done.

Let it cool for a few minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack, let the cake come to room temperature. Cut and serve.

Notes

Use good quality chocolate for the best results.

You can use cocoa powder instead of baking chocolate. Again, make sure to use good-quality cocoa powder for the best results.

Do not overbake. To check if your cake is done, insert a toothpick in the middle of the cake. Once the toothpick comes out completely clean, it’s time to take the cake out of the oven.

How to Store this Marble Cake

This Marble Loaf Cake can be stored at room temperature for upto 3 days. Store this cake in the refrigerator for upto 5 days. In both cases, make sure you store the cake in an air-tight container. The cake remains fresh only when stored properly.
