Wholewheat Eggless Chocolate Waffles

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 5 tablespoon Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Melted Butter
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • ¼ teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • In a big bowl, whisk wholewheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Mix well and set aside.
  • Add sugar, melted butter, vanilla and gently mix. Add milk little by little and form a batter. There should be no lumps. The batter should be purable. Adjust milk accordingly.
  • Preheat your waffle maker. Brush with oil or butter. No-stick spray works too. Scoop ¼ cup / a small ladle full of batter per waffle. Spread evenly.
  • Close and let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes until steam stops. Once thats done, remove with tongs. 
  • Make all waffles. Stack them high. Dust with powdered sugar or serve with toppings. Enjoy fresh for max crunch!

Notes

Adjust the quantity of milk according to your requirement. The batter needs to be in pourable consistency.
I have used chocolate syrup, sliced bananas as toppings.
