Ingredients
 
 

  • 10 slices of Bread white, whole wheat, or any of your preference
  • 4 tablespoon Nutella
  • 2 large Eggs
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • Fresh berries or sliced bananas for serving (optional)
  • Maple Syrup for serving (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and half the quantity of ground cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Cut the corners of the bread slices. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread. Spread a layer of Nutella onto each slice of flattened bread.
  • Roll up each slice of bread tightly, with the Nutella on the inside. Dip each Nutella-filled roll-up into the egg mixture, ensuring it's coated evenly.
  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Place the dipped roll-ups in the skillet and cook until they are golden brown on all sides. This should take about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the granulated sugar and remaining ground cinnamon.
  • While the roll-ups are still warm, roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat them evenly.
  • Serve the Nutella French Toast Roll-Ups warm. Consider serving with fresh berries or sliced bananas for a fruity twist.

Notes

You can slice some fresh fruits like bananas or strawberries and include them in the spread. You can also include some chopped nuts.
