Pomegranate Smoothie with 3 Ingredients

Simple , quick and delicious pomegranate smoothie with just 3 ingredients. Perfect for breakfast and snack time.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Pomegranate arils (seeds)
  • 1 medium Frozen banana sliced
  • 1 cup Milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • ½ cup Ice cubes (optional)
  • Sweetener of your choice optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the ingredients: Remove arils from a fresh pomegranate if not already done. Slice the frozen banana.
  • Blend the smoothie: Add pomegranate arils, frozen banana slices, milk to a blender. If desired, add ice for a thicker consistency. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy (about 30-60 seconds). Taste and add your choice of sweetener(if desired) and blend again.
  • Serve and enjoy: Pour the pomegranate smoothie into a glass. Optionally, garnish with a few pomegranate arils or a banana slice. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing pomegranate banana smoothie!

Notes

You can add honey, agave, maple syrup or any sweetener of your choice if desired. 
A teaspoon of chia seeds can be added for making the pomegranate banana smoothie better.
