Chocolate date energy balls are nutritious and convenient snacks made from a blend of dates, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and nuts. These energy balls are rolled into bite-sized portions and provide a natural energy boost.
½cupDark Chocolate Chips or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
¼cupCocoa Powder
1cupDates
Instructions
Add walnuts, cashewnuts and almonds to the food processor. Process till they are broken into fine pieces.
Add cocoa powder, chocolate chips and dates. Pulse till the mixture is well combined. When you touch it, it would resemble a sand like consistency.
Use your hands to form small balls. Store them in an air tight container and enjoy whenever you like.
Notes
The energy balls can be stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. You can freeze them for 3 months.If your dates are not soft, soak them in a bowl of warm water for 15 minutes. Drain the water and use it in the recipe.
