Try this easy pineapple chaat: a bright street-food style salad blending juicy pineapple with spicy chilli powder, zesty lemon, refreshing mint coriander paste, and a pinch of chaat masala for bold flavours. It’s easy, quick to make, and ideal for summer gatherings, lunchboxes, or a last-minute evening treat.
3cups Pineapplepeeled, chopped into bite sized cubes
10Coriander Leaves
10Mint Leaves
½teaspoonCumin Powder
½teaspoonChaat Masala
¼tsp Salt
¼teaspoonKashmiri Red Chilli Powderadjust to your spice level
Instructions
Pick a ripe pineapple with a sweet smell at the base. Peel the skin and chop the pineapple into bite sized cubes.
Crush the mint and coriander leaves using mortar and pestle.
Place the pineapple cubes in a bowl. Add cumin powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, salt, chaat masala powder, lemon juice, crushed mint and coriander leaves to the pineapple. Give a good mix. Taste and adjust the spices to your taste.
Serve chilled or at room temperature. Pineapple chaat tastes best within a few hours of making it.
