Before air frying, remove the silk and any loose outer leaves, then rinse the corn under cold water to remove any remaining silk. Pat dry. Cut them in half if they are longer than the air fryer basket. Otherwise, leave them as is.
Brush oil onto each ear of corn, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Air fry at 400F / 200C for 15-18 minutes, turning the corn halfway through the cooking time until the kernels are tender and slightly browned. The air frying time depends on how brown you want the corn to get and how thick the corn is.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, red chilli powder, pepper powder, a squeeze of lime juice and salt.
Once the corn is cooked, remove it from the air fryer, brush it with the spiced butter, and garnish with fresh cilantro or coriander leaves.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Adjust the quantity and customize the spices to suit your taste. Check the corn periodically while air frying to prevent it from overcooking. Cooking times may vary depending on the air fryer model and the size of the corn.
