Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsweetened Desiccated Coconut
  • ½ cup Condensed Milk
  • 150 grams Dark Chocolate

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine unsweetened desiccated coconut and condensed milk . Mix until it forms a dough. Refrigerate the mixture for 10 minutes.
  • Shape the mixture into small bars using your hands or a mold.
  • Place the bars on a tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.
  • Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in short intervals.
  • Dip each bar into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Use a fork to lift the bar out and let excess chocolate drip off.
  • Place the coated bars back on the parchment-lined tray. Use a knife or fork to create three parallel lines on top of each bar for an authentic look. Refrigerate until the chocolate sets (about 1 hour).
  • Remove from refrigerator, sprinkle some dry coconut if desired and serve.

Notes

Use milk chocolate if desired. The bars may turn out slightly sweeter.
