Green Raw Mango Popsicles

Green Raw Mango Popsicles are frozen treats made from the pulp of green, unripe mangoes. They combine the tartness of raw mangoes with sweetness and sometimes a hint of spice to create a balanced, refreshing dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 big Raw Mango
  • cup Sugar
  • 20 Mint Leaves to blend
  • ½ teaspoon Black Salt or Regular Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 3 cups Water
  • Few mint leaves to add in popsicle mould

Instructions
 

  • Wash the raw mangoes and peel the skin. Chop the raw mangoes into medium-sized pieces.
  • Pressure cook the raw mangoes over medium heat for 2 or 3 whistles along with water just enough to cover the raw mangoes.
  • Once pressure releases, cool it down and transfer the raw mangoes to a blender. Add sugar, mint leaves, black salt, pepper powder, cumin powder, cardamom powder. Blend well.
  • Add water little by little. Mix well.
  • Now, add few mint leaves to the popsicle moulds. Pour the mixture into your popsicle moulds and insert the popsicle sticks. Make sure you fill no more than ¾th of the capacity. Freeze the popsicles for 8 hours.
  • Unmould and enjoy the raw mango popsicles.

Notes

Add sugar/ jaggery according to your preference. The quantity also depends on the sourness of the raw mangoes.
