Easy Pita Chips in Air Fryer

Pita chips are crispy, golden-brown snacks made from pieces of pita bread seasoned with spices and air-fried to perfection. The result is crunchy, flavorful pita chips perfect for snacking or serving with your favourite dips and spreads.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 Pita Bread
  • 3 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley

Instructions
 

  • Cut the pita bread into wedges or bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large bowl, toss the pita pieces. Drizzle olive oil over it. Mix well and coat all the pita bread pieces with oil.
  • Add salt, cayenne pepper, cumin powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika powder, and dried parsley. Just rub them with your fingers, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Place the pita pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don't overlap.
  • Air fry for 6-8 minutes in your air fryer at 350°F (180°C), shaking the basket halfway through until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the air fryer, let them cool, and they're ready to be enjoyed!
  • Serve the warm pita chips with your favourite dip. Store the leftover pita chips in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

Adjust the spices to suit your taste. 
Keep an eye on the chips as they cook, as air fryer cooking times can vary based on the model and thickness of the pita.
Depending on the size of your air fryer, you might have to air fry the pita pockets in multiple batches.
