- 200 gms Paneer grated
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Cornflour
- 1 tbsp All purpose flour/Maida
- Salt as required
- 2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
- 15 Cheese Cubes
- Oil for frying
- Breadcrumbs to coat
Cornflour Slurry
- Water as required
- 4 tbsp Cornflour
Grate / Crumble paneer and add it to a bowl.
Add onion, cornflour, all purpose flour, salt, red chilli powder, coriander leaves to the crumbled paneer.
Bring the mixture together till you get a nice dough.
Take a small ball size mixture, make it flat on your palm and stuff it with a piece of cheese cube. Seal from all sides and roll it to a tight ball.
For the cornflour slurry, take the cornflour and add water till you get a thin paste.
Roll the ball in this cornflour slurry and roll it again in the breadcrumbs till well coated. Repeat this procedure for the entire mixture.
Refrigerate the balls for 15 mins.
Heat oil in a pan. Now , deep fry these balls on low to medium flame till they become crisp and golden brown.
Serve with ketchup or some spicy dip.
