Crispy & delicious Paneer Cheese Balls Recipe is easy to prepare & perfect as a tea time snack or party appetizer. An quick paneer starter that can be put together with simple ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gms Paneer grated
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1 tbsp All purpose flour/Maida
  • Salt as required
  • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 15 Cheese Cubes
  • Oil for frying
  • Breadcrumbs to coat

Cornflour Slurry

  • Water as required
  • 4 tbsp Cornflour

Instructions
 

  • Grate / Crumble paneer and add it to a bowl.
  • Add onion, cornflour, all purpose flour, salt, red chilli powder, coriander leaves to the crumbled paneer.
  • Bring the mixture together till you get a nice dough.
  • Take a small ball size mixture, make it flat on your palm and stuff it with a piece of cheese cube. Seal from all sides and roll it to a tight ball.
  • For the cornflour slurry, take the cornflour and add water till you get a thin paste.
  • Roll the ball in this cornflour slurry and roll it again in the breadcrumbs till well coated. Repeat this procedure for the entire mixture.
  • Refrigerate the balls for 15 mins.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Now , deep fry these balls on low to medium flame till they become crisp and golden brown.
  • Serve with ketchup or some spicy dip.
