This Celery Smoothie is a blend of just 5 amazing ingredients like Celery, Spinach , Banana , Milk and Cucumber. This is all you need to for a delicious, healthy and super filling breakfast.
This Smoothie can be made in less than 5 minutes and also serves as a great snack when hunger sets in. My children love to have this as a mid morning snack and I can’t be happier!
Why Celery Smoothie with Spinach and Banana
You might be thinking..why Celery in a a smoothie? Well, to be honest, I was never a great fan of Celery. I still am not ( except for adding them in smoothies )
But Celery is a very healthy ingredient that should be part of your kitchen. I love smoothies and so do my kids! I often make varieties of banana and spinach smoothie for them for their mid morning snack. It has been a family winner!
This week, when my husband went for grocery shopping, he bought a big bunch of Celery. I had no complaints cos I knew I can make a quick celery soup for his dinner.
That’s when the idea came in to add celery to the smoothie that I was supposed to make. I quickly did and all of them loved it. It’s a win win , isn’t it?
The beautiful green colour from Spinach and Celery, sweetness from the bananas, makes it even more tempting! To keep this smoothie more wholesome and filling, I have added a cup of milk as well. I have used unsweetened almond coconut milk to keep this Smoothie Vegan. You can use your choice of milk, plain water or juice as well!

How to freeze Bananas?
Peel and chop banana into small pieces. Add them in a ziploc bag and freeze upto 3 months. Frozen bananas can be used in smoothies, milkshake, ice cream, popsicle, nice cream and many other recipes. It gives a very rich and creamy texture !

How to make Celery Spinach Banana Smoothie?
Add all the ingredients to the blender. Blend until its completely done and smooth. Serve immediately. If you want a thinner consistency, add some water and adjust.
Celery Banana and Spinach Smoothie tastes best when consumed fresh. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for a day.
Notes
Instead of milk, cold water or any fresh juice can be added to this smoothie.
Always use fresh spinach for vibrant green color. It is always better to use fresh greens in any recipe!
Frozen bananas give a creamy, smooth texture while making the smoothie. If you do not have frozen bananas, use fresh ones.
Use ripe bananas to get a nice, sweet smoothie. My bananas were sweet enough. If your bananas aren’t sweet enough, add your choice of sweeteners like dates, honey, and maple syrup to the smoothie.
Apples can be added for an additional flavor. You can also add 1/4 cup of greek yogurt for a creamy texture.
Your choice of nut butter can also be added to this smoothie. I love adding peanut butter to my smoothie. It goes really well with bananas, especially.

Celery Smoothie with Spinach and Banana
Ingredients
- 4 stalks Celery finely chopped
- 2 Frozen Bananas
- 1 Baby Cucumber
- Handful Spinach Leaves
- 1 cup Non Dairy Milk
Instructions
- Add all the above ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the smoothie in glasses and serve immediately.
